The record page

A module has two views: the table that summarises every record, and the page of one record. The layout tool sets both.

Step 1: the record's order

Drag the fields into the order you want to read them in on the record page. Put what is looked at first at the top — the name, the value, the stage — and leave long detail for the bottom.

Step 2: table columns

If the module holds more than six fields, a second step appears: tick the fields you want as columns in the table.

What each role sees

Layout is one thing, permissions another: a field your role may not see is absent from the table and from the record page, wherever it sits in the order. A field's visibility is set in its own settings, in field types.

What is always there

Above the fields, a record page shows its stages, who it is assigned to, when it was created and last changed, and the module's custom buttons.
