Module permissions

This is where a role's data access is decided: a matrix per project, a row per module, four columns.

The matrix

In a role's settings, the "Project Permissions" section: pick the project and its modules appear, each with four boxes.

Permissions are per project: the same role may see "Properties" in the Cairo branch and not in the Alexandria one.

What happens without a permission

Without View, the module disappears from that role entirely: not in the menu, not in a table, and not on a dashboard (the widget appears with a line saying the data is hidden). Without Create, Edit or Delete, those buttons are gone from the table and the record.

Fields

These permissions work at module level. To hide one field — a commission, say — from a role that sees the rest of the record, see field visibility.
